1880s Malloch’s Brass Side Cast Fishing Reel

A very early Malloch’s side cast reel,patented in 1884, made in Perth, Scotland. Reelcan be used as a fly reel or turn spool, similar to a spinning reel to cast lures. Reel is brass with brass reel seat and a black handle. Right hand wind.

A very nice old reel in working condition for the reel collector. Purchased in Guernsey, UK – in the Channel Islands, off the coast of England
